Morgan and Daniel’s North Austin Wedding

Inspiration, wedding photography

Let me start off by saying that I am so excited to blog the wedding that I photographed this weekend!! This is the second wedding I’ve photographed in Austin, and I have to say, I was impressed with how gorgeous One Chapel in Liberty Hill was. The lighting was perfect all day, the bride was the sweetest, AND they had a food truck. Talk about a dream client and dream wedding.

I started off shooting the chapel and the details, and then I photographed her jewelry. The sun was shining through a window and created a stunning shadow which I loved.

Then the bride and groom each prepared a gift for each other. It was such a sweet moment to capture, and they were both really excited for the gifts that they received.

Soon it was time for Morgan to get into her wedding dress, and her mom and sister helped her get ready.

We took some family photos at an awesome spot just a few miles away from the church right before the ceremony. The lighting was perfect and her flowers were beautiful!

Then it was time to get married! After the ceremony, I followed the couple outside and got some adorable candids of them just minutes after saying, “I do!” You can tell by their expressions that they were so excited.

We photographed the entire wedding party after the ceremony. The color scheme is #goals and exactly what I want for my wedding one day! After we shot the wedding party and family photos, I got a few minutes with Morgan and Daniel, and we did some quick photos of them before the reception. These are my favorite from the day!

The cake had gold flakes, and the details at the reception were surrounded by glittering lights everywhere. The sun was setting as the reception started and everyone made their entrances.

Next it was time for dinner (served by Waffle Love food truck, which offered a chicken and waffle dinner as well as a strawberry waffle for dessert!), then on to first dances, and cake cutting.

And to make the night even better, they had a grand exit with sparklers and their friends and family cheering them on. They were such a cute couple and I was really honored to photograph their wedding.

The bridesmaids bouquets were by @wildflowersbycamille and the rest of the florals were by Kim Swafford, and all photographs by me @gdeimzweddings.
